We are delighted to invite you to (re)visit the StoryTellers BD installation at Silva Porto Park in Benfica which features each season a new selection of Comics.
Since August 2021, Silva Porto Park in Benfica has had new inhabitants - the StoryTellers! These small sculptures by the artist Fulviet have breathed new life into the park and provided new experiences for visitors!
The project was created with the collaboration of Galeria de Arte Urbana (GAU) and the BeDeteca de Lisboa (Comics city library) and funded by the Benfica Parish Council.
The project has balanced between ‘exhibitions’ that sometimes focus on the history of Portuguese comics, from founder Raphael Bordalo Pinheiro (1846-1905) to Ana Cortesão in the 1990s, and sometimes showcase contemporary artists and even new authors publishing their first works.
